Shloka Translation
BG – Ch. 1- Ver. 11:
Duryodhana said: Therefore, I call upon all the generals of the Kaurava army now to extend full support to Grandsire Bheeshma, even as you defend your respective strategic points.
Explanation
All the Kaurava generals were urged by Duryodhana to surround Grandsire Bheeshma and provide him with full assistance while defending their various positions in the military formations. Bheeshma’s boon of voluntary death was seen as an advantage by Duryodhana, who sought to use it as a source of strength and motivation for his army.
