Shrimad Bhagavad Gita: Sankhya Yogam: Chapter 2: Verse 7

BG 2. 7

Explanation

Arjuna eventually regained enough reasoning capacity to recognize that cowardice had knocked his mind off balance, which he correctly labelled as a mistake. He also realized that, as a result of his timidity, he was unable to make an informed decision on whether or not to fight. The only way he could do so was to abandon any pretence of understanding what was right and entrust the decision to Shri Krishna, a trusted friend and guide.

Verse & What We Can Learn

When one is in a total state of confusion, negativity, delusion and knows not where to go and what to do. The best thing to do is to surrender to Guru and ask him to lead in life.

In the next verse, Arjuna continues to tell Lord Krishna bout his state of mind.
