Shloka Translation
BG – Ch. 10- Ver. 42:

So, O Arjuna, why do you need to know these particulars? With a fraction of myself, I am sustaining this entire universe, I am established.

Explanation

He claims that the magnitude of his glory cannot be judged even by the sum of what he has described, because the entire creation of infinite universes is held within a fraction of his being. the material creation, which consists of infinite universes, accounts for only one-fourth of God’s total manifestation; the spiritual creation accounts for the remaining three-fourths.

Verse & what we can learn

Shree Krishna tells Arjun that the entire universe, made up of infinite material universes, is contained inside a fraction of his being. When Shri Krishna gave Arjuna a vast list of Ishvara’s expressions, he wanted to make sure he didn’t become stuck learning more and more of them. He urged Arjuna to stop asking questions and take a deep breath before asking himself a simple inquiry.

Is there anything else in the universe but Ishvara if Ishvara is present in everything in the universe and Ishvara is also present in me? To put it another way, if Ishvara is in everything, isn’t everything ultimately in Ishvara?

To acquire knowledge and to implement that knowledge in life one needs to be mentally and physically active and healthy and for that daily meditation is a great tool.

There are various types of meditation like Buddhist meditation, heartfulness meditation, mindfulness meditation, meditation for stress, and each meditation benefits are countless. There is also numerous meditation techniques for beginners which help in practicing daily meditation so go ahead and start your journey towards a peaceful and balanced life.

Shri Krishna closes the tenth chapter interesting thought, setting the tone for the eleventh chapter. While the tenth chapter discussed how the one Ishvara was present in all, the eleventh chapter discusses how all is in the one Ishvara.
