Shloka Translation
BG – Ch. 4- Ver. 18:

He who sees action in inaction and inaction in action is wise among all people, well-integrated, and achieves his goals.

Explanation

That individual is intelligent and well-integrated in the yajna spirit if he continually employs his discrimination to remove every sense of doership from every deed. That individual will complete each task he undertakes without fail. His achievement is a guarantee.

One type of inaction occurs when people regard their social responsibilities as burdensome and choose to ignore them out of laziness. Physically, they cease to act, but their minds continue to ponder the items of their senses. Karm yogis engage in a different type of inaction. They carry out their social responsibilities without regard for the outcome, dedicating the fruits of their actions to God.

One who regards inaction as action is smart among mankind. When you see anything in motion, you realize Atman is the one who makes it possible. You can see the possibility of so many activities in Atman. An actor on stage is a witness to everything that happens on stage while remaining unaffected. He does a fantastic job in his work. He never forgets that he is the character’s actor.

Remember that you are Atman and act your part with grace, dignity, and joy. You become engrossed in the situations around you and suffer when you lose sight of Atman. You can be successful if you are objective. Objectivity is the key to enjoyment. You also grow spiritually.
