Shloka Translation
BG – Ch. 11- Ver. 33:

As a result, you grow, gain valour by defeating your foes, and enjoy your kingdom’s wealth. All of these (warriors) have already been killed by me, thus you, O Savyasaachin, are merely a tool.

Explanation

Shree Krishna has conveyed to Arjun his desire for the Kauravaas to perish and the Pandavas to administrate the kingdom of Hastinapur according to dharma principles. He has already decided that the fight would end with the unjust being annihilated and the virtuous triumphing. His enormous plan for the world’s welfare cannot be stopped by any means.

He now tells Arjun that he wants him to be the nimitta-matram, or work’s instrument. God does not require human assistance in his job, yet humans can achieve eternal happiness by labouring to accomplish God’s will. The opportunities that come our way to do something for the Lord’s joy are quite unique.

Arjun is also encouraged to be his instrument by Shree Krishna, who reminds him of the excellent archery abilities he has earned by his grace. Because Arjun is admirably versatile and can shoot arrows with either hand, he addresses him with the vocative savya-sachin, which means skillful archer.

Verse & what we can learn

Shri Krishna had pre-planned the war’s conclusion and arranged circumstances in such a way that the Kauravaas would be destroyed. Arjuna would have preferred to leave the war if he had known this. Shri Krishna addressed Arjuna as Savyasaachin, an archer who could use both hands, and encouraged him to battle with all his might, beat his foes, and enjoy the fruits of his efforts. This is because Arjuna had a part to play in Ishvara’s epic cosmic play, or “leela.”

We link ourselves with Ishvara’s vision if we perform our obligations with a detached attitude. We become an “inmate,” or Ishvara’s instrument. We only entrap ourselves in the material world and set ourselves up for a terrible existence if we emphasize our selfish goals and will.

Furthermore, Shri Krishna was delighted to let Arjuna receive credit for his work because of his compassion. He even encouraged him to do it. And there is no favoritism in the midst of it all. The Kauravaas were destroyed because of their conduct, not because of Shri Krishna’s favoritism for the Panamas.
