Shloka Translation

BG – Ch. 1- Ver. 23:

I’d like to see people who have come here to fight on the side of Dhritarashtra’s evil-minded son to please him.

Explanation

The Supreme Lord was Arjuna’s charioteer, and he was courageous. Arjun was prepared for a fight, eager to reclaim what was rightfully theirs and punish them for their previous wrongdoings. To get a better glimpse at the Kaurava army, he requested that the chariot be placed amid the battlefield. Arjun wanted to see all those who had taken Kauravas side. Because they had decided to be on the wrong side, he planned to punish them all equally, and no one would be spared.

Verse & What we can learn

When a person follows the path of Dharma and depends on God he gains the strength to face any challenge and troubles in life.

When a person is convinced from inside that what he is doing is right and just he gains unshakable confidence.

In the next verse, we will see what Sanjaya says to Dhritarashtra.
