Yoga Can Lead the Way to Better Health and Inner Balance Says Padma Shri Dr. H. R. Nagendra at Apollo Hospital Pune

Pune, May 29: Apollo Hospital, Pune, in association with Vishwanand Kendra, Cardiac Care & Counseling Center, and Freedom From Diabetes, organised a special wellness session led by Padma Shri Dr. H. R. Nagendra (Guruji), President of SVYASA and Advisor to the Government of India on Yoga, on Thursday, at Apollo Hospital.
The session, themed “Integrating Yoga in Management of Lifestyle Diseases”, brought together healthcare professionals, wellness experts, yoga practitioners, students, and members of the community for an insightful discussion and live yogasana demonstrations focused on preventive healthcare and holistic well-being.
Speaking at the event, Padma Shri Dr. H. R. Nagendra, President SVYASA Advisor to Government of India on Yoga said, “Wealth is necessary, but along with wealth, health is equally important. Today’s lifestyle has brought many health challenges, and yoga can help people move towards better health, happiness, and inner peace. Under the leadership of our Hon’ble Prime Minister, yoga has reached the global stage through the International Day of Yoga.
