DPS International School Hosts CAS Summit and Techathlon 2026, Celebrating Student Creativity and Innovation

Gurugram, Aug 19: DPS International School successfully hosted their annual flagship events – CAS Summit 2026 and Techathlon 2026, on 18 August 2026, under the shared theme “Imagining an Impactful Future.” The events brought together around 250 students from over 20 schools across the region to showcase creativity, innovation, collaboration and real-world problem-solving.

In its fourth edition, CAS Summit continued to provide an inter-school platform for students to showcase their ideas, talents and initiatives. This year’s edition featured Dance-a-Poem, where teams brought a poem to life through dance and recitation, and Pitch, where students presented business ideas addressing real-world needs and creating meaningful change.Hoops brought teams together for a basketball competition, while AD-MAD: Sell It Smart challenged participants to create a 60-to-90 second advertisement for an assigned product. Lens featured a five-minute short film on the CAS statement of the year, and Balance showcased a three-minute solo or group yoga demonstration on the same theme.

The summit offered the students a platform to express their ideas and passions, and reflect on a shared belief in the power of young changemakers to create a lasting impact. =The event was graced by the presence of esteemed judges including Mr. Sagar Dua, Senior Assistant Vice President, EXLService; Mr Aryan Bhutani, Senior Sales Executive Max Estates; Ms. Rachana Yadav, a renowned Kathak dancer and Mr Anirudh Kochar, Assistant Manager, Lenskart.

Techathlon, the technology and innovation festival, returned for its fourth annual edition, with a blend of online and off site events. The InnovateX Challenge asked students to identify a real-world problem and propose a technology-enabled solution, while Through the Lens invited participants to create an original campaign poster using curated challenge images. The AI for Good Lab encouraged students to harness artificial intelligence to build a functional digital solution, and the SoundCraft Challenge saw participants transform everyday materials into functional musical instruments.

Techathlon participants engaged with diverse perspectives and designed solutions spanning education, healthcare, accessibility, sustainability, digital wellbeing and community development.

Both events stood as a celebration of the diverse talents =that students bring to the table, from the fields of creative and athletic to the technological and entrepreneurial, while offering them a platform to learn from one another and take their ideas beyond the classroom.
