NPST and Infinity Infoway Convert ID Cards into Digital RuPay Payment Cards
Mumbai, India, Jan 10: Network People Services Technologies Limited (NPST), a leading digital banking and payments technology company, has partnered with Infinity Infoway Ltd to transform education and transport ID cards into digital RuPay cards.
The collaboration integrates NPST’s TimePay Prepaid Card with Infinity Infoway’s ERP, embedding prepaid payment capabilities directly into enterprise and institutional workflows. Student IDs, employee IDs, and driver IDs are converted into secure, prepaid credentials, enabling payments as a seamless extension of day-to-day operations.
Infinity Infoway’s ERP manages core processes such as identity issuance, role definitions, access rights, approvals, and policy enforcement. NPST’s payment layer is embedded within this framework, ensuring transactions occur strictly within operational rules, reducing manual oversight, and enabling controlled, auditable, and compliant payments.
For educational institutions, the solution allows prepaid payments across approved campus merchants, including canteens, bookstores, and transportation. Parents can preload funds, reducing cash handling while maintaining transaction visibility and security. Similarly, transport companies and fleet operators can embed prepaid payments into operational workflows, addressing challenges like fuel overbilling and misuse of cash advances, with transactions limited to authorised categories and real-time reconciliation.
Designed for both online and offline acceptance, the platform enables safer, cashless, and efficient operations across campuses, transport ecosystems, and enterprise environments. The rollout will begin with select institutions and enterprises before expanding pan India.
