BG – Ch. 3- Ver. 18:

Explanation
One who is just interested in the everlasting essence loses any sense of doership In other words, all of his activities become selfless and spontaneous, and the concepts of gain and loss, as well as dependency or support from anybody or anything, do not exist for such a person. the state of a fully realised individual who has lost all sense of doership and hence has given up all action. Renouncing doership entails withdrawing from activity.
For self realized people every action is transcendental and performed in the service of God. They are directly engaged in Bhakti, or pure spiritual activities, like as meditation, which are prescribed for worldly people at the corporeal level. It is not deemed a sin if such souls refuse to perform their worldly responsibilities. They are free to continue performing worldly responsibilities if they so choose, but they are not required to do so.
