Shloka Translation
BG – Ch. 3- Ver. 12:

The celestial gods will grant you all of your desired necessities of existence after they have been satisfied by your sacrifice. Those who take advantage of what is provided to them without returning it are true thieves.

Explanation

In this stanza, Krishna explains the tamasika individual. One who receives benefits without considering how they will be repaid. Shree Krishna calls it a stealing attitude when we begin to view the treasures of nature as things of our own enjoyment rather than as methods of serving the Lord.

God created the world we live in, and everything in it is his property. We are clearly committing robbery from the divine perspective if we use his creation for our own pleasure without acknowledging his authority over it. Each person is expected to execute his or her role as a service to the Supreme as an integral member of God’s world.

Verse & what we can learn

The Entire creation is Lord’s the air we breathe, the sunlight we enjoy, the water we drink the food that comes out of mother earth is all his prasad. Offering him even a bit, out of love and sharing it with others as well is our minimum duty.

To the almighty who is everything and gives us everything that we can give but our love anything that we offer to the lord should be out of love.

What does bhagavad gita say about duties? Teachings of Krishna in bhagavad gita give us guidance in this aspect. To have control over senses and to develop the right qualities necessary for our spiritual progress meditation is the tool we can make use of.
