Shloka Translation
BG – Ch. 10- Ver. 31:
I am the wind among the cleansers, and Raama among the weapon wielders. I am the crocodile among marine creatures, and Gangaa among rivers.
Explanation
Wind does a great job of purifying the air in nature. it is nature’s great cleaner. Lord Rama was the world’s most powerful warrior, and his bow was the most lethal weapon. Every time he used his weapon, he did so for the greater good. As a result, he was the ideal weapon wielder. Shree Krishna identifies with Rama since he was also an Avatara of God.
The Ganges is a sacred river that originates from the Lord’s glorious feet. It dropped from the celestial abodes to the earth. On its banks, many great sages have undertaken penances, adding to the purity of its waters.
Verse & what we can learn
Among all the purifiers in the world, wind is the most powerful manifestation of Ishvara. . Several poisons are removed from the body by deep inhaling and expiration. Lord Rama is the most powerful weapon wielder in the universe. This is because, despite his skill with a variety of weaponry, he only employed them as a last resort when no other means of diplomacy were working.
The huge crocodile exudes power and grandeur. The word “Makara” refers to a formidable sea creature known as a crocodile. According to Shri Krishna, the Makara is Ishvara’s most prominent manifestation among the water creatures.
Ishvara is Jaahnavi, or Ganga, among the rivers. Knowledge, like the Gangaa river, moves from a higher to a lower plane and is everlasting. Knowledge also purifies, just like a river does.
So, whenever we feel the wind, see weapons used correctly, see a big crocodile, or witness a mighty river, we should remember that these are all manifestations of Ishvara.
