Explanation
Duryodhana began to assess the warriors on his side, after assessing the Pandavas army. We’ve been watching Duryodhana’s emotional state for the last several verses. Duryodhana was worried that he had insulted his army’s chief commander and his teacher, after insulting Dronacharya and not receiving a response. As a result, he felt compelled to say something to please Dronacharya, so he began his evaluation of great warriors on their side, in this verse, by placing Dronacharya first.
Verse & What We Can Learn?
No Individual is perfect every human is a combination of a variety of tendencies, & qualities that are good and bad, the quantity of each, in each individual, varies that’s all.
When one is emotionally stable, his thoughts, words, and deeds will be in sync and he can face any challenge in life.
It is said, one who does sadhana (meditation), can overcome fear, doubtfulness, and low-self esteem.
In the next verse, we will see how Duryodhana talks with ego to his Guru praising his warriors.
