Shloka Translation
BG – Ch. 5- Ver. 7:

The karma yogis see the Soul of All Souls in every living being because they have a pure intellect and control over their mind and senses. They are never entangled while doing a lot of different activities.

Explanation

With a pure brain, such karma yogis recognise God in all living beings and treat everyone with respect and without attachment. Their knowledge is gradually refined since their acts are not motivated by a desire for self-satisfaction.

The senses, mind, and intellect that were propelled for sense pleasures come under control as their wants are abolished.

These instruments are now accessible for use in the Lord’s ministry. Devotional service leads to internal realisation of knowledge. In this regard, karma-yoga is no different from karma sanyasa in that it naturally brings about these sequential levels of awareness.

Shri Krishna depicts the vision of someone acting in the spirit of karma yoga in this shloka. Because he has the same vision as a renouncer, that individual does not produce any more desires while performing. He recognises the timeless essence in everyone and everything, even himself. His vision suggests that the everlasting essence has been revealed to his complete nature, including his mind and intellect.

Shri Krishna further informs us that such understanding is only achievable after the body, mind, and senses have been brought under control. The actions of such a person do not “taint” him in any way.
