Shloka Translation
BG – Ch. 9- Ver. 34:

Always remember Me, devote yourself to Me, worship Me, and pay respect to Me. You will undoubtedly come to Me after dedicating your mind and body to Me.

Explanation

After emphasizing bhakti, or devotional path, throughout this chapter, Shree Krishna now invites Arjuna to become His devotee. He instructs Arjuna to worship God, meditate on His divine form, and give homage in pure humility to Him in order to join his consciousness with God in real Yoga.

Humble bowing successfully neutralizes any traces of ego that may occur during devotional performance. As a result, one should devote everything of one’s thoughts and activities to the Supreme, free of pride and with a heart filled with devotion. Shree Krishna informs Arjuna that perfect communication with Him through bhakti-yoga will undoubtedly lead to God-realization; there can be no mistake about it.

Verse & what we can learn

We should make Ishvara our main objective in life. Once this goal is established, everything else will fall into place. We should continue to contemplate Ishvara and dedicate all of our actions to Ishvara. The more we do this, the more our ego will be tamed, and we will be transformed into true devotees. We may come into persons and situations that are unpleasant, disagreeable, or unappealing to us. Even in the middle of adversity, we should kneel down and surrender to Ishvara, understanding that the painful but transient events are the result of our past actions. We’ll see Ishvara in everything, and Ishvara in everything.

To acquire knowledge and to implement that knowledge in life one needs to be mentally and physically active and healthy and for that daily meditation is a great tool.

There are various types of meditation like Buddhist meditation, heartfulness meditation, mindfulness meditation, meditation for stress, and each meditation benefits are countless. There are also numerous meditation techniques for beginners which help in practicing daily meditation so go ahead and start your journey towards a peaceful and balanced life.

Shri Krishna tells Arjuna in the next Chapter next shloka to listen to his statements which are for his wellbeing.
