Shloka Translation
BG – Ch. 15- Ver. 20:

I’ve revealed the Vedic scriptures’ most secret principle to you, O sinless Arjuna. By grasping this, a person becomes enlightened and achieves all that is required of them.

Explanation

Arjuna, I’ve given you the gist of all the Vedic Scriptures’ hidden knowledge. From the description of the world’s nature to the distinction between matter and spirit, this book has it all. Finally, the absolute truth about oneself and the Supreme Divine Personality, God, is realized. I guarantee that whoever spreads this information will be profoundly enlightened. Their actions and endeavours will undoubtedly bear fruit and get them closer to their ultimate objective of God realization.

Verse & what we can learn

Shri Krishna closes this chapter by claiming that anyone who genuinely understands the teachings of this chapter has accomplished everything someone can achieve in this world, as well as knowing everything there is to know in this world. The understanding of three things is the highest level of knowledge in our world. Who am I, what is this world and where did it originate from, and what lies beyond? A shaastra, is any text that answers these three questions convincingly. The Gita’s fifteenth chapter accomplishes this, earning it the title of shastra.

Purushottama, the pure eternal essence, is revealed by gradually progressing from the tangible to the intangible, from the visible to the subtle, from the visible cosmos to the invisible Prakriti, and finally to Purushottama, who is beyond both. This chapter’s teaching is known as the most important secret. It’s a secret since none of these sense organs have access to such information. It must be presented by a teacher who has first-hand knowledge of the eternal essence. Furthermore, it must be imparted to a learner who, like Arjuna, is honest and sinless.

To acquire knowledge and to implement that knowledge in life one needs to be mentally and physically active and healthy and for that daily meditation is a great tool.

There are various types of meditation like Buddhist meditation, heartfulness meditation, mindfulness meditation, meditation for stress, and each meditation benefits are countless. There is also numerous meditation techniques for beginners which help in practicing daily meditation so go ahead and start your journey towards a peaceful and balanced life.

In the next chapter next shloka Shri Krishna talks about Saintly virtues.

Let’s learn to live with “The Gita” via Meditation Affinity…
