Shloka Translation
BG – Ch. 12- Ver. 15:

Such devotees of mine are exceedingly beloved to me because they are not a source of annoyance to others and are not bothered by others, who are equal in pleasure and pain, and devoid of fear and anxiety.

Explanation

The soul is pure and uncontaminated by nature. The issue is that the impure mind is currently covering it. The wonderful attributes of the soul naturally shine through once these impurities are gone. More traits that arise in His devotees are described by Shree Krishna.

Nobody is irritated by it. Devotion softens and melts the heart; therefore devotees are naturally gentle in their interactions with others. They also sense God seated in everyone and see everyone as His small fragments. As a result, they are incapable of hurting anyone.

Others may want to harm devotees even if they never hurt others. Those who felt threatened by their charitable work and ideas often oppressed saints throughout their lifetimes, according to the history of saints around the world. Even while dealing with enemies, the saints kept a loving attitude.

Devotees are equipped with the wisdom of the scriptures, and as a result, they understand that pleasure and misery is inextricably linked to the flow of life; As a result, they recognize God’s grace in both and use any event to strengthen their devotion, thanks to their endless positive attitude. Attachment is the source of dread and worry.
It makes us need and fear separation from the object of attachment. We become fearless when we get removed from material objects. Devotees are not only devoid of attachment; they are also in tune with God’s will. As a result, they have neither fear nor worry.

Verse & what we can learn

When we interact with other people in our daily lives, we are bound to have a variety of emotional reactions to what they say to us. Excitement when hearing something pleasant, aggravation when hearing something unpleasant, dread when hearing something concerning, and agitation when meeting someone who has the upper hand in the conversation are four common reactions.

The devotee who sees everyone and everything, including himself, as Ishvara’s play has no cause to take things personally. His idea of self is not the egocentric. He has identified with Ishvara, the creator of many universes. Any insult, tension, or fear vanishes almost instantaneously because he sees the insulter.

To acquire knowledge and to implement that knowledge in life one needs to be mentally and physically active and healthy and for that daily meditation is a great tool.

There are various types of meditation like Buddhist meditation, heartfulness meditation, mindfulness meditation, meditation for stress, and each meditation benefits are countless. There is also numerous meditation techniques for beginners which help in practicing daily meditation so go ahead and start your journey towards a peaceful and balanced life.

In the next shloka Shri Krishna tells what kind of devotees are dear to him.
