Shloka Translation
BG – Ch. 11- Ver. 37:

Why, O great one, most honourable and ancient creator of even Brahmaa, should they not bow to you? O king of lords, O dwelling of the cosmos, you are infinite, imperishable, that which is beyond both the manifest and unmanifest.

Explanation

Arjuna says “why should they not,” to justify the behaviour outlined in the previous verse in four verses. When the entire creation comes from him, is maintained by him, and will merge back into him, why shouldn’t all living beings pay him modest respect? Because it is all his energy, he is everything that is manifest in creation. Because it is his latent energy, he is also everything that remains unmanifest. Yet, as the Supreme Energetic—the source and Supreme Master of all energies—he transcends both the manifest and the unmanifest.

As a result, neither material energy nor souls can have any effect on his personality, which is transcendent to both. Because Brahma is the most senior in the cosmos, Arjuna clearly states that Shree Krishna is greater than the secondary creator Brahma. All living things are either Brahma’s descendants or Brahma’s progeny. Brahma, on the other hand, was born from a lotus that grew from Lord Vishnu’s navel, who is an expansion of Shree Krishna. As a result, whereas Brahma is the world’s most senior grandsire, Shree Krishna is Brahma’s Grandsire. It is therefore fitting that Brahma bows to him.

Verse & what we can learn

Arjuna keeps praying to Ishvara in his cosmic form. Here, he explains why people who worship a certain deity were seen saluting the cosmic form. He claims that there is no reason not to bow down to someone who is superior to our divinity in every way. Ishvara, in his cosmic form, is Lord Brahma’s primordial cause and creator. Ishvara generates several Lord Brahmas, whereas Lord Brahmaa can create multiple universes. As a result, it is proper for humans to worship Ishvara.

Sat is the hardware, while asat is the software, which is the memory-based programming. Our actions are guided by the unspoken programming of our wants, just as a computer follows its instructions. Ishvara transcends the universe’s manifest and unmanifest names and forms.
