Shloka Translation
BG – Ch. 11- Ver. 25:

I forget where I am and don’t know where to go after seeing Your many mouths bearing Your terrible teeth, which resemble the raging fire at the time of annihilation. You, Lord of Lords, are the universe’s refuge; please have mercy on me.

Explanation

The universal shape that Arjuna sees is only another facet of Shree Krishna’s personality, and it is indistinguishable from him. Nonetheless, the sight of it has drained Arjun’s previous feelings of friendship toward Shree Krishna, and he is terrified. Arjuna is terrified after witnessing the Lord’s numerous wondrous and terrifying forms, and believes that Shree Krishna is displeased with him. As a result, he begs for compassion.

Verse & what we can learn

Arjuna is confronted with a cross roads. He can’t “follow the directions,” can’t figure out where to escape from here. All of his plans to do this or that have suddenly fallen through. Many persons who are confronted with their mortality may have ideas similar to those expressed by Arjuna.

When we recognize that we are ultimately weak in the face of the grand scheme of things, our ego abandons all pretenses and surrenders to Ishvara in prayer. Individuality must be completely surrendered in order for prayer to be feasible. As a result, Arjuna prays to Shri Krishna, pleading with him to return to his original form. Shri Krishna, on the other hand, isn’t finished yet.
