Andhra Pradesh CM Visits Daaji, Lauds Kanha Shanti Vanam & Heartfulness Initiatives
Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh pays a special visit to Revered Daaji; impressed by Kanha Shanti Vanam and Heartfulness initiatives
Hyderabad, Dec 17: Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Shri N. Chandrababu Naidu ji met Revered Daaji – Guide of Heartfulness and President of Shri Ram Chandra Mission at the largest meditation centre in the world at Kanha Shnati Vanam in the outskirts of Hyderabad Monday morning. The special visit that lasted five hours facilitated a guided tour of Kanha Shanti Vanam which not only houses the largest meditation centre but also has a Wellness Centre, Yoga facility, the Heartfulness International School, Heartfulness Gopichand International Badminton Academy besides a Tree Conservation Centre, a Rainforest, Biochar facility and more.

Chief Minister was joined by Revered Daaji to the Heartfulness Tree Conservation Center (Tissue Culture Lab) where he was given an overview of the ongoing scientific and botanical research. This was followed by a walk through the Rainforest showcasing the biodiversity and environmental initiatives. He was then given a tour of the world’s largest meditation hall with an overview of design, capacity, and spiritual significance; and the Babuji Vanam (Rainwater Harvesting Zone) outside the meditation hall. This was followed by a visit to the Biochar Center of Excellence. The Chief Minister was then led to Heartfulness Gopichand International Badminton Academy where he was shown the world-class training centre with excellence programmes.
Followed by the tour Chief Minister was led by Revered Daaji by his car to the latter’s residence at the ashram where he received a one-on-one Heartfulness meditation sitting by Daaji. The two discussed about the sustainability efforts at Kanha Shanti Vanam and possible collaborations in Andhra Pradesh in the future.
Chief Minister also praised the Brighter Minds and HELP (Heartfulness – Experience of Life’s Potential) programmes offered by Heartfulness which not only improve the cognitive and intuitive abilities of children but also take education to newer heights.
Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Shri N. Chandrababu Naidu said,
“In decoding spirituality by making meditation affordable and accessible to all human beings; designing and developing spiritually for a healthy future for all; Sriman Daaji has artfully contributed to increasing awareness of heartfulness and one’s consciousness in human life. In nurturing a symbiotic relationship with nature (especially plants), Sri Daaji has achieved a rare mastering of heartfulness in communication and emotions; which will spiritually yet scientifically contribute to changing old patterns and promote human ecosystems to achieve their highest potential by excelling in material and spiritual planes simultaneously; thus achieving a fine balance of mind and body for humanity. The success of this experiment needs to be scaled up and replicated in all places and walks of human life.”

Under the leadership of Daaji, the Heartfulness Institute of leadership is aiming to develop human resources into global leaders. The institute conducts training programs under the name ‘Kaushalam’. The Chief Minister also visited sustainable agricultural fields during the visit.
