MIC Electronics Sponsors FEAR Project’s 750 km Ultra Distance Cycling Initiative

The initiative, led by endurance cyclist Kanthi Dutt, was flagged off on March 7 from Novotel Hyderabad Convention Centre in Hitec City and will conclude in Mumbai on March 14. The ride covers a challenging 750-kilometre route and aims to highlight the importance of endurance sports, mental strength, and holistic fitness.

The event is being organised by Project FEAR in association with the Sports Authority of India and the FIT India Movement, bringing together members of the cycling community, fitness advocates, wellness experts, and representatives from the sports ecosystem.

As presenting sponsor, MIC Electronics will support the initiative through branding across event communications, including launch backdrops, route milestones, social media content, and promotional material during the cycling journey.

Speaking about the initiative, Rakshit Mathur, CEO, MIC Electronics, said:

“MIC exists to build things that last—not just infrastructure, but human potential. Our association with this ultra-distance cycling initiative reflects our belief that endurance is as much mental as it is physical. By supporting the 750 km journey from Hyderabad to Mumbai, we hope to encourage greater awareness around mental resilience and overall well-being.”

Kaushik Yalamanchili, Managing Director, MIC Electronics, added:

“At MIC, we understand that high performance—whether in business or sport—requires a healthy mind and body. The discipline required to complete 750 kilometres mirrors the discipline we value in our teams. Supporting this initiative is our way of reinforcing the importance of mental resilience and overall wellness.”

The FEAR Project aims to inspire more people to take up endurance sports while encouraging conversations around mental health and fitness. The initiative also aligns with national efforts to promote active lifestyles through programs such as the FIT India movement.

The launch event saw participation from endurance cyclists, wellness advocates, corporate partners, media representatives, and members of India’s growing fitness community.

The event is hosted by Novotel Hyderabad Convention Centre with KLM Fashion Mall as the Powered By Partner.

This marks the first major edition of the FEAR Project Ultra Distance Cycling Initiative, which aims to strengthen India’s endurance sports ecosystem and encourage greater participation in long-distance cycling.
