AISECT’s 4th Samarth Bharat Conclave Empowers Youth for Viksit Bharat

24th April 2025: India’s leading social enterprise, AISECT, successfully organized the 4th edition of the Samarth Bharat Conclave on April 21st -22nd 2025, at Kushabhau Thakre Hall, Bhopal. Centered around the theme “The Role of Skill Development, Financial Inclusion, and Social Entrepreneurship in Building a Developed India,” the two-day event brought together industry leaders, policy experts, and educators for high-impact discussions on India’s growth story, with a strong focus on empowering the youth and fostering global conversations across education, culture, and science.

The event was inaugurated by Madhya Pradesh’s Minister for New and Renewable Energy, Shri Rakesh Shukla, who served as Chief Guest. In his address, he commended AISECT’s grassroots efforts in skill development and rural empowerment, while also encouraging the introduction of more renewable energy-focused courses through educational institutions.

Prominent attendees included Sahil Goel, Manager at NSDC; Dr. Kiran Rajanna, Advisor at NSDC; Shri Santosh Choubey, Chairman of the AISECT Group; Dr. Siddharth Chaturvedi, Executive Vice President; Dr. Aditi Chaturvedi Vats, Director of the AISECT Group of Universities; Dr. Vijay Singh, Vice-Chancellor of Scope Global Skills University; and Dr. R.P. Dubey, Vice-Chancellor of Rabindranath Tagore University.

The two-day conclave featured a range of thematic sessions focused on shaping India’s development journey. Discussions spanned key topics such as “Skill India Mission: Transforming India’s Workforce for the Future,” “Importance of Counseling in Holistic Youth Development,” “Global Pathways for Higher Education,” and “Skilling the Next Generation.” Alongside these sessions, an on-ground expo showcased diverse entrepreneurial opportunities, while job offer letters were distributed to students selected through AISECT-led job fairs conducted across the country. The conclave also honoured outstanding contributions in entrepreneurship and training, with awards presented in categories including Entrepreneur of the Year, Best Woman Entrepreneur, Upcoming Entrepreneur of the Year, and Best Vocational Trainer of the Year.

Reinforcing its commitment to strategic collaborations, AISECT signed several key MoUs during the conclave. These included a partnership with FuturEd for international education programs, an MoU between AGU and Google for the “Digital Campus on Google” initiative, an MoU with MEPSC for Early Childhood Education Teacher Training, and a collaboration between Scope Global Skills University and NSDC’s Center of Future Skills. The event also saw the release of AISECT’s Annual Report, the AISECT PMKK Coffee Table Book, and two authored publications—“Big Country, Little Business” and “Computer: An Introduction.” In addition, important research reports such as the RKSK Project Report under the National Health Mission and the STEM Report co-developed with Sattva Consulting were officially launched.

Taking a meaningful initiative towards building a self-reliant India, the second day of the ‘4th Samarth Bharat Conclave 2025’ was dedicated to important topics like financial inclusion and social entrepreneurship. Policy makers, banking experts, educationists and social organizations from across the country participated in this event held in Bhopal. The chief guest of its inaugural session was Shri Gautam Tetwal, Minister of State for Skill Development and Employment, Government of Madhya Pradesh. During this, other guests on the stage included CGM in NABARD, Mrs. C. Saraswati, General Manager Manoj Kumar in State Bank of India (SBI) LHO (NW-3), General Manager Tarsem Singh Jeera in Central Bank of India- Zonal Office, DGM Vimal Kumar Khabya in SBI, SBI LHO DGM Jitendra Kumar, DGM Himanshu Vyas in Union Bank of India, Chairman of AISECT Group Santosh Choubey, AISECT – Executive Vice President Dr. Siddharth Chaturvedi, AISECT Director Anurag Gupta were prominently present.

Minister Gautam Tatwal said that AISECT is contributing in a very important way in realizing the dream of a developed India. Developed India means empowering every citizen, connecting everyone to the mainstream. He underlined 3 major points which are very important for a developed India. These are – skill development, financial inclusion, social entrepreneurship.

Reflecting on the significance of the conclave, Shri Santosh Choubey, Founder, Chairman, and Managing Director of AISECT, said, “As India charts its path towards becoming a developed nation, the challenge is not just growth, but inclusive growth. At a time when technological disruption and demographic shifts are rapidly changing the nature of work, it is imperative that we act with urgency to equip citizens with future-ready skills and entrepreneurial pathways. With meaningful dialogues, impactful collaborations, and a shared commitment to nation-building, the Samarth Bharat Conclave 2025 concluded on an inspiring note. The event stood as a testament to the power of collective vision and action, reinforcing that progress towards a Viksit Bharat lies in empowering every citizen through skill, opportunity, and innovation.
