Kochi, Mar 02: ASG Vasan Eye Hospitals has strengthened its footprint in Kerala with the inauguration of its latest state-of-the-art eye hospital at Janatha Junction, Vyttila. Spanning 12,000 sq. ft., the new facility serves as the flagship centre of the group in Kochi, delivering comprehensive and advanced eye care services in the heart of the city.
The inauguration ceremony was graced by Chief Guests Minimol V. K., Mayor of Kochi Corporation; Uma Thomas, MLA – Thrikkakara Constituency; and renowned playback singer Vaikom Vijayalakshmi, who performed the traditional lighting of the lamp.
Speaking on the occasion, Mayor Minimol V. K. said,

The Vyttila hospital is designed as a comprehensive hub for ocular health, offering full-time services from specialized surgeons across key departments including Cataract, Refractive, Cornea, and Retina care. Equipped with advanced diagnostic tools and a wide selection of branded intraocular lenses, the centre is prepared to manage complex eye conditions across all age groups, with a special focus on pediatric vision care and refractive surgeries aimed at reducing dependency on glasses.
