IIHMR University Jaipur Hosts Global Health Management Conference on AI, Signs 10 MoUs
Mumbai, Feb 23: IIHMR University Jaipur organised a two-day Global Health Management Research Conference on AI for Global Health: Innovation, Integration and Sustainability. The conference featured four thematic tracks: Transforming Community Health through AI and Behavioural Science Integration; AI for Sustainable Development; CSR & ESG Performance Measurement; AI for Market Access, Forecasting & Pharma Commercial Excellence; and AI in Population Health Management & Predictive Care Pathways. The two-day conference brought together industry leaders from esteemed organisations like PwC, Narayana Health, Sandoz, Novo Nordisk, Wadhwani AI, and Population Council. The experts deliberated on India’s paradigm shift in healthcare delivery through the expansion of telemedicine, digital health records, AI-enabled diagnostics, predictive analytics in population health, and data-driven policymaking.
Dr P.R. Sodani, President, IIHMR University, shared, “AI for Global Health” is an important and timely theme for our two-day annual conference. He highlighted that our Hon’ble Prime Minister, Mr Narendra Modi, suggested an AI framework called “MANAV, where M for moral and ethical, A for accountable governance, N for national sovereignty, A for accessible and inclusive, and V for value and legitimate. He further said that AI must be leveraged not only for efficiency and analytics but also for equity, accessibility, and sustainable public health outcomes.
Dr Pramod Yeole, Vice Chancellor, Rajasthan University of Health Sciences, Jaipur, inaugurated the conference and delivered his inaugural address, saying, “Health system today requires collaboration across disciplines like management, technology, pharmaceutical sciences, behavioural sciences, and public policy. Rajasthan offers fertile ground for implementation research, as AI offers promising opportunities for budding researchers. AI-driven models can support material and training programs for non-communicable disease screening, supply chain forecasting for medicine, diagnosis, and insurance fraud detection.” Mr Arun Kumbhat, Strategic Advisor (Digital Health), Libra Social Research Foundation, spoke on digital innovation ecosystems and scalable AI solutions for inclusive health systems.
During Conference IIHMR University signed Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) with partner institutions committed to advancing global health management research, innovation, and academic exchange. The ceremony reinforced the University’s commitment to collaborative research, digital health innovation, and capacity building.
Prof. Ranjit Singh, Vice Chancellor of Shobhit University, Uttar Pradesh, was the Chief Guest in the Valedictory session on February 21, 2026. Prof Ranjit Singh highlighted the importance of AI for Health in his address. He advised the students to be human-centric in their professional lives and serve the community with dignity and respect.
Dr Himadri Sinha, Provost, IIHMR University and Organising Secretary of the conference, shared that the conference witnessed the signing of 10 MoUs with various organisations, 400+ participants from across domains and 20 eminent speakers. He presented the conference report.
