BITS Pilani WILP and Lloyds Technology Centre Forge Strategic Partnership to Drive AI-Led Transformation in Banking

Mar 11: BITS Pilani Work Integrated Learning Programme announced a landmark Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Lloyds Technology Centre, signaling a significant step in strengthening industry-academia collaboration. This strategic partnership aims to substantially advance workforce capabilities in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AIML), empowering professionals to seamlessly integrate advanced academic expertise with real-world banking challenges and drive innovation across the financial sector.

The cornerstone of this collaboration is the enrollment upto 250 selected employees from Lloyds Technology Centre into BITS Pilani WILP’s specialized 11-month M.Tech/MBA/PGD in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning programme. The curriculum is meticulously designed to combine rigorous classroom learning with practical, experiential projects and assignments, all tailored to address critical banking use cases such as enhanced risk management, sophisticated fraud detection, robust compliance, and insightful customer intelligence.
