The event served as a platform for discussions on statutory frameworks that help ensure safe, ethical, and transparent healthcare delivery. The second day of the summit featured expert-led sessions covering corporate compliance, medico-legal case studies, biomedical waste management, regulatory frameworks, and hospital safety standards. These discussions highlighted the importance of structured governance systems that support clinical excellence while safeguarding patients, healthcare professionals, and healthcare institutions.

Speaking during the summit, Shalabh Dang, Chief Sales & Marketing Officer at CARE Hospitals, addressed immigration reporting and FRRO compliance obligations for international patients. He noted that as healthcare increasingly serves patients across borders, hospitals must adhere to regulatory frameworks related to international patient care. He added that compliance with immigration reporting norms and FRRO requirements ensures transparency and enables smooth coordination with authorities.

A key highlight of the concluding session was the Statutory Compliance Excellence Awards, where teams and departments across the CARE Hospitals network were recognised for their commitment to maintaining high standards of governance, regulatory adherence, and operational transparency.

Delivering the closing remarks, Rajeev Chourey, Vice President – Quality, Operations & ESG at CARE Hospitals, said the summit created a valuable platform for knowledge sharing and collaborative learning across the hospital network. He emphasised that compliance is not merely a regulatory requirement but a critical pillar supporting patient safety, ethical medical practices, and institutional credibility.

Over the two-day summit, experts discussed a wide range of regulatory frameworks including the Clinical Establishments Act, Medical Termination of Pregnancy Act, Transplantation of Human Organs and Tissues Act, and PCPNDT Act, along with environmental regulations, labour laws, corporate governance standards, and hospital safety norms.

PRAVARA 2026 reaffirmed CARE Hospitals’ commitment to strengthening governance systems, ensuring statutory compliance, and fostering a culture of accountability that ultimately contributes to safer and more reliable healthcare delivery for patients.
