Vishwakarma Rathotsava and Janajagruti Convention Inspire Devotion and Unity

Bengaluru, Feb 1: The 43rd Sri Vishwakarma Brahma Rathotsava, organised by the Sri Vishwakarma Seva Samithi (Regd.), was held with great devotion and grandeur on Saturday morning at the Sri Kalikamba Kamateshwara Swamy Temple, Nagarthapete. As part of the celebrations, Sri Vishwakarma Suprabhata, Ganapathi Pooja, Sri Vishwakarma Homa, and Poornahuti rituals were performed from 7.30 am, followed by Panchamruta Abhisheka to the silver idol of Sri Vishwakarma. At 11.35 am, the Brahma Rathotsava was formally flagged off, and a grand chariot procession moved through the major thoroughfares of the city, accompanied by traditional folk and cultural troupes. The procession concluded with Mahamangalarati and the distribution of Theertha Prasada.

Later at 5.00 pm, the Vishwakarma Janajagruti Convention was successfully held at the Town Hall on J.C. Road. The convention featured inspirational addresses to the Vishwakarma community, award presentations to achievers from various fields, felicitation of community members, and talent recognition awards for school children. Jagadguru Anantashree Vibhushita Shivasujnana Mahaswamiji and several other revered Swamijis graced the occasion with their divine presence. Dr. R. Madhusudhan, President of Sri Vishwakarma Seva Samithi, M. Madhusudhan, General Secretary, along with other office bearers and members of the Samithi, actively participated in the programme. The entire event was well organised and successfully conducted under the leadership of the Sri Vishwakarma Seva Samithi and the Gold and Silver Workers’ Union.
