Manak Mahotsav 2025 Launched at Salaam Namaste
Noida, October 3rd, 2025: Under the joint aegis of the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) Noida Branch, IMS Noida’s community radio Salaam Namaste inaugurated the “Manak Mahotsav 2025.” The initiative aims to raise consumer awareness, spread knowledge of standards across rural and urban communities, and empower youth and women. The month-long festival will be held from October 1 to October 31, 2025.
Barsha Chhabaria, Station Head of Salaam Namaste, highlighted that the festival will host a wide array of consumer awareness and empowerment activities. The initiatives will include awareness programs in rural areas, active engagement of youth and women, outreach campaigns in residential colonies and villages, along with social media campaigns, podcasts, public service announcements, and dedicated sessions for senior citizens.
During the launch event, Mr. Rajiv Kumar Gupta, President of IMS Noida, said, “Through Manak Mahotsav 2025, Salaam Namaste will not only inform consumers about their rights and standards but also take concrete steps toward making them aware and self-reliant.”
Prof. (Dr.) Vikas Dhawan, Director General of IMS Noida, added that youth and women, in particular, would benefit significantly from this initiative. He emphasized that the festival aims to familiarize consumers with the importance of quality products and services. “This program will play a crucial role in consumer empowerment while fostering a positive attitude toward quality and standards in society,” he said.
