Shloka Translation
BG – Ch. 2- Ver. 52:

You will become indifferent to what has been heard and what is to be heard after your intellect has transcended the swamp of delusion.

Explanation

Anyone who is always in a state of equanimity gets uninterested in hearing about any subject. However, this is only the literal meaning. It also refers to seeing, touching, experiencing, and smell, or any object that we perceive with our senses.

Try to keep track of your connection to material objects as you begin to cultivate equanimity through Svadharma.

You will notice that your interest in the material world begins to fade with time. The state of “param vairagya,” or ultimate indifference, is the state of ultimate indifference to the material world.  You can focus on abhyasa and vairagya in daily life.

Spiritual growth is divided into three levels. The majority of individuals are self-centred and deluded. They only cater to their sensory desires, acting on their likes and dislikes. They are unable to imagine anything else than acquisition and delight. They are imprisoned by the world’s pairs of opposites.

The second stage occurs when you recognize the futility of worldly pursuits and realize that the world cannot provide you with happiness. You put others’ needs first and use your knowledge to achieve a higher purpose. You devote your entire life to achieving that goal. As a result of buddhi yoga, your vasanas are reduced. The guru will help you on the quest “how to get rid of vasanas.”

The third stage is when you are disinterested and uncaring about previous and future experiences. You have a strong desire to attain the fourth plane of Consciousness, which is beyond the physical realm. As a result, the world loses its sharpness.

The mind is continuously wandering back and forth between the past and the future. The mind gets focused and able to concentrate on the present when the aim of Realization is fixed with the intellect. When you’re focused on Realization, you’re unconcerned about the rest of the world.

You become unconcerned about the previous mantra as well as the one to come in the subtlest act of meditation. The mind is anchored in the current quiet. As a result, you reach the state of Realization. Meditation propels you into the fourth dimension.

You’ll be on the fast track if you know what you’re doing. It allows you to skip ahead in time. You don’t have to go through the agonizing process of having many experiences to develop wisdom. Understanding leads to wisdom almost immediately. As a result, Krishna coined the phrase “buddhi yoga.”
