Shloka Translation
BG – Ch. 3- Ver. 22:

In all three worlds, O Parth, I have no obligation to fulfill, nor do I have anything to gain or achieve. Nonetheless, I am performing my responsibilities.

Explanation

Shri Krishna didn’t skip a beat when it came to his responsibilities. On Arjuna’s request, he became a charioteer. Yudhishthira, Arjuna’s brother, performed a yajna after the Mahabharata conflict. Shri Krishna even bathed the feet of those who came to see him. His attitude was one of equanimity while performing any action, and he found great joy in the work despite not expecting any reward.

We all work because we require a source of income. Shri Krishna is perfect and complete in himself, and he does not require anything else. If such a person works, there can only be one motive for it: it will be for the benefit of others, not for personal gain.

As a result, Shree Krishna tells Arjun that, while he has no responsibility to do in the universe, he works for the well-being of others. Despite the fact that Atman is uninterested in any activity, nothing can happen without Atman. You have no choice but to act as long as you have vasanas. Krishna was born Realized with no vasanas but remained active throughout his life.
