Shloka Translation
BG – Ch. 3- Ver. 19:

As a result, give up attachment and perform activities as a matter of duty, because working without attachment to the results leads to the attainment of the Supreme.

Explanation

The recommendation of Shree Krishna, Arjuna should be a karma yogi who does not engage in karma sanyasa. Change the focus from desire to obligation. Execute your responsibilities flawlessly, with honesty and zeal. You become disconnected from the lower while you are attached to the higher. While your body is in motion, keep your thoughts on the higher plane.

Spiritual growth occurs when one performs what needs to be done without attachment. Desires fade away, the mind relaxes, and you accomplish success. Action is hampered by desire and attachment. When you’re free of the crippling affects of both, you’ll be able to reach greatness with ease. Work becomes enjoyable, stimulating, satisfying, and relaxed as a result.

One who is just interested in the everlasting essence loses any sense of responsibility. The concept of gain or loss, as well as the notions of dependency or assistance from anybody or anything, do not exist for such a person.
