Shloka Translation
BG – Ch. 6- Ver. 32:

I regard them to be perfect yogis who see the true equality of all living beings and respond to the joys and sorrows of others as if they were their own.

Explanation

The joys and sorrows of others are considered their own by those who perceive God in all beings. As a result, such yogis are constantly well-wishers of all souls and seek for everyone’s ultimate benefit. The enlightened yogi is this. A yogi or meditator of the highest level is one who sees himself in others and consequently experiences their joys and sorrows.
The perfected meditator sees no distinction between himself and other entities, just as we don’t distinguish between our left and right hands or other body parts. Negative emotions like jealousy, hatred, greed, and fury go away when the meditator sees no distinction between himself and other beings. A person who achieves such a vision will never harm another person physically, mentally, or verbally. Meditation is nearly hard for someone who harbours any form of hatred or bad emotion toward anyone, therefore a nonviolent attitude, or ahimsa, comes naturally to a meditator.

Verse & what we can learn

Yogi is rated the highest; he is judged as having reached the zenith of Yoga because he sees his own pleasures and pains of the aforesaid sort as being no different from those of others of the same kind. That he experiences all of life’s pleasures and pains through analogies. This is merely a declaration of a distinctive mark.

Forgetting one’s link with God is the source of a living entity’s suffering. Knowing the divine as the supreme enjoyer of all human endeavours is the source of happiness. All living beings’ true companion is the perfect yogi.

A devotee of the Lord is always concerned for the well-being of all living things, and in this sense, he is in fact everyone’s friend. He is the best yogi because he strives for perfection in yoga for the benefit of others as well as himself.
