Shloka Translation
BG – Ch. 9- Ver. 5:

The living entities, on the other hand, do not abide in Me. Behold the mystery of My heavenly power! Despite the fact that I am the Creator and Sustainer of all living things, I am unaffected by them or by material nature.

Explanation

There is a third energy of God, in addition to the two energies described in the purport of the previous verse—Maya shakti and Jiva shakti. This is known as Yogmaya shakti, or divine energy, as He alludes to it in this verse. Yogmaya is the all-pervasive energy of God. It is this that “can make the impossible possible,” and it is this that is accountable for many of the remarkable things we attribute to His character. God is present in our hearts, yet we are blind to Him. This is due to His almighty Yogamaya power, which puts us at a distance from Him. God also stays at a safe distance from Maya’s influence.

If the world has the ability to affect God, then His nature and personality will degrade as well. Despite all of the changes in the world, God’s personality stays unchanged. Maya is humiliated to even be in front of God. Despite the fact that God pervades Maya, the material energy, He remains far from it? This is due to Yogmaya’s mysterious power.

Everything, according to the Lord, is dependent on Him. Despite the fact that everything depends on Him, He remains distant. The Supreme Lord is demonstrating His energy by executing incomprehensibly marvellous pastimes. His person is filled with various tremendous forces, and His will is a fact in and of itself. When divine wishes to do something, everything is done so precisely that no one can comprehend how it is done, in this way the Personality of Godhead is understood. The Lord clarifies this by saying that, while He is the creator and sustainer of all material manifestations, He does not interact with them. Everything is created, sustained, maintained, and annihilated solely via His supreme will.

Because He is absolute spirit, there is no distinction between His mind and Himself . The Lord is present in everything at the same time, but the average person does not grasp how He is also present personally. Despite the fact that He is distinct from this corporeal manifestation, everything is dependent on Him.

Verse & what we can learn

What we see with our eyes, hear with our ears, and feel with our skin is only a collection of names and forms. It is Ishvara’s divine strength, similar to a magician’s skill. Ishvara appears to be the one who creates, sustains, and destroys these names and forms, but this is not the case. If we believe in the reality of the realm of names and forms, Ishvara claims that all beings are based on him. However, if we deepen our understanding and recognise that the universe of names and forms is Ishvara’s play, he declares that none of those beings, names, or forms live in him.
Even with this information, we will continue to see, hear, touch, feel, and taste the world. Those creatures will emerge in the world, survive, and finally dissipate. Our loved ones will prosper, but they will also pass away at some point. All of this is a maaya play by Ishvara. He claims to be the creator and sustainer of these names and forms to this goal.

Our minds and intellect will always receive names and forms from our senses. We will be liberated if we understand that they are all fictitious names and forms. We shall be imprisoned in their apparent reality if we are fooled into believing they are real.
