Shloka Translation
BG – Ch. 11- Ver. 20:

Only you can traverse the distance between heaven, earth, and all directions. The three planets are terrified after seeing this, your intriguing and terrifying form, O great one.

Explanation

“O Omnipresent Lord, you pervade all ten directions, the entire earth, the sky above, and the space in-between,” Arjun declares. All living things tremble in terror at the sight of you.” Arjun indicates that everyone obeys God’s laws out of fear. His decrees are in effect, and everyone is required to obey them.

“Karma is the law that governs the universe. Whatever we do, the karmic consequences will be borne by us.” There are numerous laws in existence, such as the law of karma. Many scientists make their career by discovering and theorising natural laws, but they can never make the laws themselves. God is the supreme lawmaker, and his rules have sovereignty over everyone.

Verse & what we can learn

Our minds have been programmed to believe that Ishvara is seated far away. By space and distance, he is isolated from us. However, when Arjuna saw the cosmic form, he recognised that space and Ishvara are the same. In reality, Shri Krishna stated in the seventh chapter that space is a component of his essence. Ishvara is not separate and far from us; he is always present with us.

In truth, “ekena,” he is the only one who exists. We are not dissimilar to him. This shloka’s main point is this. Only by remembering the cosmic shape on a regular basis will we completely comprehend this message. Ishvara’s ugra roopa, or awful shape, is gradually taking the place of his saumya roopa, or attractive form. For each enjoyable experience,

To acquire knowledge and to implement that knowledge in life one needs to be mentally and physically active and healthy and for that daily meditation is a great tool.
