Realize Self-Worth; Value People And Things You Associate With…
For some unknown reasons, we humans don’t always realize the value of other persons, things, or for that matter anything, until, we lose them. Though we know that, we need to exercise daily, take balanced food and lead a healthy lifestyle, we don’t start following all those things unless we fall sick. When one fine morning, we find ourselves lying on the hospital bed, we feel, “I should have” known the value of health, when I was healthy.
We don’t know the value of health till we are healthy. Same with finances, as long as there is someone else to take care of our financial needs, we don’t value money, we spend it like water. But when we start earning, or when there is no one else to take care of our finances, we count each penny that we spend and start realizing the value of money.
When we have parents with us, who show us unconditional love and take care of all our needs and protect us, we take them and their love for granted. Hardly, few children bother to show them love in return, because we are too busy in our lives and we never try to know their feelings and emotions. Then, when one fine day, we have a situation where in. we have to stay away from them, or by misfortune they leave us alone in the world, we realize we should have spent more time with them.
This applies to all areas of our life and to all things and persons. Boss does not value his employees and vice versa. We should always try to know and value people, things, money, health and life while we have them, but not when we have paid the price of not knowing their value. Each and every being, thing and life on this earth has a value. Our environment is valuable, the air we breathe, the things we use, the relationship we have with other humans, all are valuable. There is nothing in this world that does not have a value.
It is for us to open our eyes to these facts and start treating humans with love, utilize money and resources knowing their value and living life fully because life itself is the most valuable thing. The day we start living life like this, we start adding value not only to our life and others lives as well.
