Improve the Functioning of Brain

Brain, a vital organ of the human body plays a significant role in the life of a human being. Even if all other body parts are functioning well, if the brain does not work, the person is as good as dead. We do take supplements and vitamins to enhance the functioning of the other parts of the body, but none of us hardly ever think of brain, until and unless, we have any issues with it.

Here are some interesting facts about brain and some suggestions, as to how we can make its functioning better.

  1. Brain requires over 20% of the oxygen and nutrients supply that we intake and weights only 2% of the body mass.
  2. As in case of other parts of the body, we don’t need any additional supplements to take care of its functioning, but it is advisable to keep ourselves away from those things, that might harm its functioning.
  3. Our thought plays a key role in the maintenance and the functioning of the brain. As we take healthy and nutritional food to maintain our body, similarly, our thought process should always remain positive.
  4. The more you keep yourself away from stress and anxiety; the better will be the functioning of the brain.
  5. As we need to exercise to keep our body fit and strong, we also require following meditation on a daily basis to keep your brain active and sharp.
  6.   To a certain extent the physical exercises that we do also helps in better functioning of the brain.
  7. Most of us fear new things, places and people. But, more we expose ourselves to new and challenging situations and things, the better the functioning of the brain becomes. So, always welcome new and unknown.
  8. The more you learn, the better the brain becomes. So, don’t put a full stop to learning process, keep upgrading and always keep learning new things, or subjects.
  9. Mostly people depend on their elders or mentors to take key decisions of their life. They are scared to take the responsibility on their shoulders, to learn from their mistakes and to move ahead in life. This is not good for your brain. You should take your own decisions and think about your life, as how to move ahead in life. So, independent thinking should be developed.
  10. Make sure that you get your daily dose of heart full laughter, because this plays a very important role in the functioning of the brain. Mingling and socializing with other people and also good and positive friendships also helps you to keep your brain fit.

So, if you are really interested in making your life better, start focusing on these aspects and start implementing, because a bright future awaits each one of us.
